Paul Zerdin

We are very proud to have Paul Zerdin as our headline act for this year’s One Cause Gigglathon! He is one of the top comedians on the circuit with over 15 years experience and is a regular headliner at The Comedy Store and Jongleurs! But what makes Paul extra special is the fact that he isn’t just a regular comedian. He is in fact a comedy ventriloquist and a Gold Star member of the Inner Magic Circle!

He’s managed to win ITV’s nationwide ‘The Big Big Talent Show’ hosted by Jonathan Ross, and has appeared regularly on the Royal Variety Show and on ITV’s Tonight at the London Palladium. Among many other TV shows, Paul has appeared in Shirley Bassey’s 60th Birthday Special, BBC1’s Generation Game, ‘Late Night With Jerry Springer’, Open House, Today with Des and Mel and, for Sky TV, ‘Undercover Magic’.

With his huge reputation, he was recruited in to star on major TV commercials for massive brands like Kelloggs, Persil and Honda!

2009 has already been a packed year for Paul, with shows in Las Vegas, Cape Town, Shanghai and Beijing and most recently touring the UK with The Joe Pasquale Show after a sell-out show at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  So we are really proud that we have been able to get him on board to headline for the One Cause Gigglathon!

Prince Abdi

Prince Abdi is an award winning stand-up comedian. Originally from Somalia, he now lives in Brixton. He was nominated for best newcomer by BECA and came 3rd in Revels Chortle Comedy awards! He also won YOUR COMEDY STAR 2007 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

He made his stand up television debut on Paramount’s hit show “The World Stands Up” and is a big hit performer all around the globe, especially in Europe and the US. A fantastic comedian who is guaranteed to keep you in stitches!

Hyde Panaser

Hyde Panaser is a name to watch out for on the Asian comedy circuit. He is “hugely likeable and assured young comic, one of the brightest new talents around”(timeout magazine) and has already managed to build a huge number of fans with his performances.

When it comes to comedy he considers everyone a target! He touches on hilarious topics like being a Brit-Asian and dating to dealing with the different cultures he comes across living a multicultural lifestyle.

He has previously opened for Jason Rouse and Jeff Mirza and is sure to be an act to watch out for. He has attracted interest from various media including Asiana Magazine, Eastern Eye, BBC Asian Network and more recently Timeout magazine, where he was awarded with rave reviews.
